Under PM Kusum scheme MP announces 225 MW of solar projects tender
MPUVNL tenders for 225 MW grid-connected solar plants development in MP under PM Kusum Scheme. The deadline for submitting bids is August 31.
Under the PM KUSUM program, Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has invited bids from developers for the development of approximately 225 MW (AC) grid-connected solar power plants connected to selected 33/11 kV substations. Project sizes are 500 kW to 2 MW, with a maximum of 5 MW per bay at each substation.
Submission & Other Dates: The deadline for submitting bids is August 31, 2021. On August 8, a pre-bid meeting has been scheduled. The 3rd and 8th of September are the dates for the opening of technical and financial bids, respectively.
Scope of Work: Included in the work is the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, including the construction of switchgear and bays at a substation as well as comprehensive operation and maintenance for 25 years. From the effective date of the PPA, the selected bidder needs to complete the commissioning of the project within nine months.
Other Tender Details: There is a nonrefundable bid processing fee of 5,000 rupees for interested bidders. There is no bid security for interested bidders to pay though. Performance Bank Guarantees (PBGs) of Rs.5 lakh/MW for 12 months are required of successful bidders. Upon successful commissioning of the solar power plant, the power producer will receive the PBG after reimbursing any penalties associated with the delay.
