Tender for supply of 15MW of multi-crystalline solar modules by CEL
The CEL has issued tender inviting bids for the supply of 15 MW multi-crystalline solar modules at various locations across India. The bid submission deadline is 09 October 2020.
The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued a tender inviting interested bidder to submit bids for the supply of a total of 15 MW of multi-crystalline solar PV modules that are to be supplied at different locations in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Specifications
As per the tender document, the specification specifies the following,
- Each solar module should be with a dimension of 156mm x 156 mm having a minimum rating of 315W with 72 cells.
- In addition, having a positive power tolerance, the solar modules should have a maximum tolerance of up to +3% with respect to the rated power of solar modules.
- In regards to efficiency, the solar modules should have a minimum efficiency of 16%, and a fill factor of more than 75%.
- In addition, the solar modules that will be used should be generated indigenously and should meet the domestic content specifications criteria of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
Submission Deadline & EMD:
For the submission of the bids, the last date is October 09, 2020. While the bidder will have to submit a sum of INR 1 million as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the competitive bidding process, the tender documents mention the following criteria for bidders –
The bidder should be the manufacturer of original domestic equipment and have installed automated line installations that generate at least 30 MW per year.
He also should have supplied 315W to 350W of multi-crystalline solar modules in the last 5 years. This supply should include at least one order of 5 MW capacity, or two orders of 2.5 MW, or three orders of minimum 2 MW capacity.
Under the financial criteria, the bidder in the previous three financial years should have an average annual turnover of INR 100 million.
