Tender floated by NTPC for 3MW Rooftop Solar projects at IIT Jodhpur
NTPC has issued tender inviting bids for setting up of 3 MW rooftop solar projects at IIT Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan. Bid submission deadline is January 05, 2021
A tender was issued by the NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN) for the development of a grid-connected 3 MW Rooftop Solar Power Project at IIT Jodhpur.
The tender invites bids for the installation and commissioning of 3 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at the IIT Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan.
Submission Deadline & EMD:
The last date for submission of bids is 05 January 2020.
Bids are scheduled for opening on 06 January 2021.
An amount of INR 2 million is to be submitted as an earnest money deposit (EMD) for this tender.
Scope of Work:
The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the designing, engineering, supplying, installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of the rooftop solar projects. In addition, the bidders will also be required to provide operation and maintenance services of the solar project for a period of 10 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- A bidder should have prior experience of built, supplied, erection as well as commissioning grid-connected rooftop solar power projects for a total installed capacity of 800 kW, from which at least one rooftop of the solar project should be 100 kW or higher capacity.
- The reference project presented by the bidder of 100 kW or more should have been in operation for at least six months prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening
- In the event of a bidder being a developer, he should have carried out an industrial project either as a developer or an EPC contractor of INR 40 million or more over the last 10 years. And at least one year prior to the launch of the commercial bid opening date, the project should have been operational.
- With regard to the financial requirements, in the last three financial years, the total annual turnover of the bidder should not be under INR 120 million. The holding company would be obliged to meet the stipulated turnover conditions if the bidder did not satisfy the average annual turnover criterion.
- The net value of the bidder should not be below 100 percent of the paid-up share capital of the bidder as of the last date of the previous fiscal year.
Other Tender Details:
According to the tenders, local Class-I providers receive preferences over local Class-II and non-local suppliers. A Class I local supplier is a provider is one whose local content exceeds 50% for products, services or works provided for procurement.
Likewise, a local Class-II supplier is one whose local content is less than or equal to 20 percent of the products, services, or works for procurement.
