IOCL invites bids from vendors and turnkey solar contractors for its retail outlets in Punjab
IOCL has invited an expression of interest (EoI) for empanelling vendors or lump-sum turnkey solar project contractor(s) for their retail outlets under the company’s Punjab state office. The qualified firms need to submit their bids latest by 11 September 2020.
An expression of interest (EoI) for empanelling of vendors or lump-sum turnkey solar project contractor(s) has been invited by the India Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for their retail outlets under the company’s Punjab state office.
Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh together fall under the Punjab State Office of the IOCL.
Submission Deadline & EMD:
The bid submission deadline for the interested bidders is September 11, 2020.
There is no mention in the tender towards the submission of the earnest money deposit (EMD). However, the Interested bidders are expected to pay a processing fee of INR 2,500/-.
Scope of Work
Under work scope, the selected bidders will be required to undertake the design, engineering, testing, supply, packing, forwarding, transporting, unloading, storage, installation, along with commissioning of the projects on lump-sum turnkey mode.
In addition, a comprehensive operation and maintenance services must also be provided for these projects for at least one year period, as per the tender document.
Eligibility Criteria:
To take part in the bidding process, the bidder should have successfully installed and commissioned solar projects with a cumulative capacity of at least 150 kW in the country in the last three years.
While applicants are also expected to have completed a minimum of 50 kW of similar projects. Of these, at least one project must be over 25 kW in size. Alternatively, the bidder can have two projects over 15 kW each, three projects over 10 kW each, or ten projects over 3 kW each.
Financial Eligibility Criteria:
The annual turnover of prospective bidders should be at least INR 84 lakhs in the last three financial years, in order to be eligible for competitive bidding processes.
