GEDA Contractors Empanelment Tender for Biogas plant
The Gujarat Energy Development Agency has floated a tender for the empanelment of contractors for a biogas projects in the state. The last date for bid submission is 02 Nov 2020.
For large-scale biogas projects in the state, the Gujarat Energy Developments Agency (GEDA) has issued a tender for the empanelment of contractors.
Within four months the contractor must complete the project and commission it. The deal also requires 10 years of project execution and maintenance.
Submission Deadline & EMD:
The cut-off date for bids submission is 02 November 2020 – while the bids will be opened on the same day. The interested bidder will have to make INR 100,000 submission towards Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).
Subsidy Payment:
As specified in the tender, the subsidy is payable in three installments to the approved contractor. The first and second installations will each account for 40%, while the final installation will cover 20% and be paid post commissioning of project and training of operations and maintenance for one month.
Eligibility Criteria
The participants must meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in the competitive bidding process –
- At least three major biogas projects with a minimum capacity of 25 m3 / day should have been successfully developed by the bidder.
- Also, in the last three years at least they could have carried out a biogas project worth INR 2 million.
