BHEL issued tenders for solar O&M of 3 projects in Telangana
BHEL has issued tenders for O&M of the X3 solar power project of SCCL in Telangana that have a combined capacity of 79 MW. The last date for bid submission is 31 July 2020.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) a Government of India owned company has issued tenders for operations and maintenance (O&M) for X3 solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 79 MW in Telangana. for in Telangana.
These solar projects are of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and located across Telangana. The duration of operation and maintenance required for all these projects is 123 months.
Submission Deadline:
The deadline for submission of applications is July 31, 2020.
Scope of Work
The scope of work will include all O&M services pertaining to all equipment and systems installed, including transmission line and sub-station bays, in these 3 solar projects. The project details are as follows
Project 1: In the first bid, BHEL invited bids for O&M in Manuguru, Telangana, for the 30-MW solar power project of SCCL. The contract costs are estimated at INR 6.38 crore. The interested bidders must submit an amount of 12.8 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
Project 2: In the second tender, BHEL invited the O&M bid for the Pegadapalli project in Telangana for the 10 MW solar power project of SCCL. The cost of the contract is estimated at INR 3.125 crore. To participate in the bidding process, interested bidders will have to submit an amount of INR 6.26 lakhs as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
Project 3: In the last tender, BHEL invited bids for the O&M works of the Yellandu, 39 MW solar power project of SCCL in Telangana. The contract cost is estimated at INR 7.688 crore. The interested bidders will have to submit an amount of INR 15.3 lakhs as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
Financial Eligibility Criteria:
In regards to financial criteria for eligibility, the bidder should have an average financial turnover of 30 percent of the tender value over the last 3 fiscal years.
The bidder should have an experience of completing three similar works that cost not less than 40% of the estimated cost or two similar works that cost not less than 50% of the estimated cost or one equivalent work that cost not less than 80% of the estimated cost.
