10 MW Solar Projects Rate Contract Tender by ANERT
In a tender for 10 MW of solar energy projects across Kerala, ANERT has invited empanelled agencies to submit their bids for rate contract – latest by 20th of October 2020.
The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has issued a tender for solar projects including both ground-mount and rooftop across Kerala. For this tender, ANERT has invited empanelled organizations to submit their bids for the rate contract for 10 MW of solar power projects.
The solar systems will range from 1 kW to 10 kW depending on tender requirements and specifications. The contract includes a five years warranty for the project. As per the tender document, the projects commissioning should be done within three months.
Submission Deadline & EMD:
Bids submission deadline is October 20, 2020. Bidders are required to submit a sum of INR 5 lakhs as the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).
Scope of Contract
The quoted price shall include initial shipment, installation, and commissioning costs and assistance during the five-year warranty period during the bidding process. Thus, in accordance with the tender document, the bidders should quote rates that are all-inclusive.
It means that the quoted rates should include – supply of the materials at the specified locations and the cost of the material and labor involved in civil works, installation and commissioning along with warranties, net metering, remote monitoring, insurance, GST, as well as all the other costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Under eligibility requirements to participate in the competitive bidding process, the tender documents mention that the applicants must have had a minimum average annual turnover of INR 20 million, in the last three years.
To date, ANERT floated over 16 MW of solar tender including a tender of 6 MW of ground-based, grid-connected solar systems to be installed in Palakkad, Kerala, issued in July this year.
While, a 10 MW tender for off-grid solar energy projects was issued last year by ANERT, to be at public institutions across 14 Kerala districts.
