Over 1,000 EV charging stations installed by Tata Power in India

The company plans to build a network of 10,000 charging stations across the country, as well as to turn entire stretches of highways into e-highways. 


Tata Power announced on Monday that it now has more than 1,000 electric vehicle charging stations spread across the nation. 

In a statement, Tata Power said its 1,000 public charging stations would provide customers with seamless and innovative electric vehicle charging experiences at their places of work, shopping malls, hotels, retail outlets, and public places.

The aim is to enable clean mobility and freedom from range anxiety, the statement added. 

A company statement further noted that there are also close to 10,000 home EV charging stations, making EV charging convenient for vehicle owners. 

Tata Power EZ Chargers ecosystem includes the whole value chain of public, captive, bus/ fleet, and home chargers.

Tata Power EV charging stations have now been installed in over 180 cities since the first charging station was installed in Mumbai.
