Gautam Solar increased its mounting structures manufacturing capacity by tenfold

Gautam Solar, expanded its solar modules mounting structures production capacity of Haridwar Unit from 50 to 500 metric tons per month…

One of India’s renowned solar manufacturers, Gautam Solar, recently increased its production capacity by 10 times from 50 to 500 metric tons per month for its solar modules mounting structures. As a result of the expansion, Gautam Solar will be in a position to meet the ambitious renewable energy targets of the Government of India.

Located in Haridwar, the state-of-the-art unit will manufacture solar module mounting structures for solar pumps, solar power plants (utility scale and rooftops), as well as solar street lights and high masts.

The designing of the products is by a team of expert structural engineers and approved by top-known engineering institutes. These structures can withstand wind speeds of up to 150 kph, which adds to their robustness and long life.

“Our expansion plans have been in the pipeline for a while, and we would like to thank our founder and visionary technocrat, B K Mohanka, an Ex-Professor, Engineering College for lending his expertise” said Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director, Gautam Solar.

“B K Mohanka’s experience in structuring complex commercial projects, such as airport hangars, food silos, and warehouses provided a foundation for Gautam Solar to expand its structure fabrication unit,” he further added.

Gautam Solar has increased its manufacturing capacity by a staggering tenfold from 50 to 500 tons per month as the company strives to meet the renewable energy and net zero targets taken by the Honourable PM Modi ji at COP26.

As part of Gautam Solar’s vision for Horizontal Integration & Atmanirbhar philosophy of Honorable PM, the company is fabricating all components of Solar PV Systems inhouse, viz. Manufacturing 250 MW of Solar Modules (ALMM Approved), Solar Electronics (Inverters, Pump Controllers, Remote Monitoring units), Solar Storage (Lead Acid Battery, Li-Fe Battery, Tubular Gel Battery) and Solar Module Mounting Structures.

Speaking on the issue of non-compatibility between the Mounting Structures & Solar Panel faced by the Solar System Integrators – Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director of Gautam Solar stated that manufacturers of standalone structures usually miss out the minute but crucial issues related to integration due to their lack of understanding of solar. Gautam Solar’s integrated solution and extensive knowledge of the solar industry help in this regard.

In a nutshell, Gautam Solar aims to be a one-stop solution for solar power plants and solar pump systems integrators to get solar panels and structures that are compatible with each other at a single location. In this way, Solar System Integrators are able to execute and deliver their projects much faster since they will purchase all components from one manufacturer, he added further.

Gautam Solar has been involved in solar manufacturing for over 24 years. The company has its corporate office in Delhi and 4 manufacturing facilities located in Haridwar. The company aims to become the one-stop solution for manufacturing all solar PV components in India.
