Waaree appoints Vivek Srivastava as its chief executive officer

Vivek Srivastava joined the leading solar module manufacturer Waaree Energies, as its new Chief Executive Officer


In a press release, Waaree Energies, a manufacturer of solar module, announced the appointment of Vivek Srivastava as its new chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from 30 August 2021.

Srivastava has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur. Previously, he was the senior vice-president of Reliance BP Mobility.

Currently, Vivek Srivastava is in charge of setting strategic goals, leading the development of short and long term goals, along with assessing, monitoring, and minimizing risks for the company, its subsidiaries, and other companies within the group, according to the press release of the company.

I am excited to have Vivek on board as CEO, said the Waaree Group chairman, and managing director, Hitesh Doshi. Vivek has solid international experience, deep strategic expertise, and experience in driving transformation and managing disruption, he added further.
