Tata Power and Apollo Tires announced partnership to deploy EV charging stations
Initially, Tata Power will install charging stations in 150 branded Apollo Tyres outlets – CV and PV Zones – in accordance with their agreement.
The Tata Power company has partnered with Apollo Tires to deploy electric vehicle charging stations across Apollo Tires commercial and passenger vehicle zones in India. In a statement, Tata Power and Apollo Tires announced their strategic partnership in this regard.
As an active player in all segments of the electric vehicle charging ecosystem, Tata Power has deployed a broad range of chargers.
Tata Power CEO and MD Praveer Sinha said that the company was pleased to partner with Apollo Tyres on the installation of EV charging stations across their commercial and passenger vehicle zones. “The partnership represents our commitment to developing and expanding the electric vehicle ecosystem in India,” he said.
This classification of chargers will accommodate EV charging for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, based on location. Initially, Tata Power will install charging stations in 150 branded Apollo Tyres outlets – CV and PV Zones – in accordance with their agreement. Besides the customers who visit these tyre retailers, the charging stations will also be open to the general public, year-round.

Through its EZ Charge brand and an easy-to-use digital platform, Tata Power has deployed EV charging infrastructure in around 200 cities, with more than 1000 EV charging points.
Public EV charging stations network provide a convenient and seamless EV charging experience for customers. Tata Power has this public EV charging network spread across offices, shopping malls, hotels, retail outlets, and public places, enabling clean mobility and removing range anxiety.
Tata Power EZ Chargers’ ecosystem covers the entire value chain, including public chargers, captive chargers, buses/fleet chargers, and home chargers.
In addition to its software platform, Tata Power also created a mobile application (Tata Power EZ Charge) to provide its customers an easy and convenient charging experience. It helps users find EV charging stations, charge their cars, and make payments online, making it a unique app.
