Delivery of e-Scooter Simple One by Simple Energy is set for June 2022
Simple Energy, India’s premier electric vehicle company, will begin delivering its flagship electric scooter, Simple One, in June 2022. Having launched in the EV market on Independence Day last year, the futuristic, stunning and strong e-scooter witnessed a record rush in pre-orders, with over 30,000 orders placed in total till date.

In addition to being the fastest ‘Made in India’ e-scooter, Simple One offers the highest driving range of 203km in Eco mode and 236km with IDC for a fully charged battery. It can sprint from 0-40 in just less than 2.95 seconds and reach a top speed of 105km/h, making it the best in class in the scooter segment.
It boasts the largest boot space of 30L and a smart dashboard, along with many other features that will surprise its customers. From its debut, this scooter has been winning hearts for its angular design, sleek body structure, sporty look, and integrated turn indicators on the front and rear sides.
A manufacturing unit in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, where the Simple One will be produced, will have an annual capacity of up to 1 million units. The factory is getting ready to begin mass production, and will be operational within the next few weeks. Moreover, the company has also launched a second facility in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, which will cover 600 acres and produce 12.5 million units annually – making it the largest two-wheeler producer in the world.
Together with the Indian Institute of Technology-Indore (IIT Indore), Simple Energy has recently completed the development of an advanced thermal management system. This association was aimed at improving the safety, dependability, and lifespan of the battery modules in all its products.
