Adani Solar aims to boost market share by partnering with KSL Cleantech
The partnership will help Adani Solar broaden its footprint in the east and northeast regions of India
Adani Solar on Tuesday announced a partnership with Kolkata-based KSL Cleantech to expand its retail distribution business in the east and northeast regions of India.
According to its press release, Adani Solar has estimated a rooftop market of 130MW in these two regions. The company targets rooftop, utility-scale, residential, commercial and industrial customers as well as solar pump customers.
We are pleased to partner with KSL Cleantech in the retail distribution space… as Adani Solar’s authorized channel partner, KSL Cleantech is responsible for all solar retail requirements in the region,” said Ramesh Nair, Adani Solar’s CEO. In addition, the firm would shoot for a 50% market share, he added.
By increasing consumption of alternative forms of energy such as solar energy, we will be able to expand reach and visibility for our products,” Nair stated.
The release noted that the installation of Adani’s off-grid panels will help consumers reduce the risks of blackouts while on-grid panels will reduce electricity costs.
According to Adani, its solar panels are made available through a strong distribution network being spread in over 1000 towns in India.
