Surat’s first solar-powered textile market is powered by Goldi Solar
Avadh Group’s first solar-powered textile market in Surat is powered by Goldi Solar, which may pave the way for other markets in the area.
Global solar panel manufacturer and EPC services provider Goldi Solar has solarized Surat’s First Textile Market for Avadh Group. The market can be found in the heart of Umarwada, a district in Surat. AWDH is a reputable real estate company with various high-end residential and commercial projects across the country.
The solar power project is planned to be completed in three phases. Currently, 100 KW of the project has been commissioned out of its three phases. The high-efficiency modules from Goldi Solar will generate 497,400 KWh of electricity a year and offset 47.1 tons of CO2 emissions. Electricity savings of 37.5 lakhs are expected every year at Avadh Textile Market.
Surat is poised to grow into a solar hub after having emerged as a manufacturing hub of diamonds and textiles. The solar market is expected to benefit more than 10,000 textile markets.

Goldi Solar is an ALMM (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers) listed company and has received certification from BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). The latest module series introduced by the company is HELOC̣™ Pro that comes with M10 technology and a power of 560Wp.
