Siemens Gamesa secures order for 200 MW Wind Power Project

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited, the leading renewable energy player in India, has signed an order for a 200MW Wind Power Project with Orange Renewable, promoted by AT Holdings Pte.Ltd, Singapore.
As per the agreement, Siemens Gamesa will handle the entire infrastructure needed to operate the project with the supply, erection & commissioning of 100 units of G114-2.0 MW wind turbines with a hub height of 106m, specifically designed for low wind sites in India. The project is expected to be commissioned by February 2019.

Clean and affordable energy generated from this project will offset approx. 651,000 tCO2e from the environment and electrify approximately 155,000 households annually. The project will be connected to the Interstate transmission system of India, which will enable the inter-state flow of energy from a renewable resource-rich state to help other states comply with their renewable purchase obligation and secure long-term energy supply at a fixed price.
