Servotech has appointed Deepak Kumar as VP for its EV charger division

His experience in the automotive & telecom sectors spans two decades. In the past, he worked for Honda Cars India, Tata Motors, and tier-I automotive suppliers.


Servotech named Deepak Kumar as Vice President of its EV charger vertical. Kumar will be in charge of the EV charger vertical’s end-to-end supply chain and operations, according to a statement released by the company on Wednesday. 

He will work closely with Directors, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Technical Officer to ensure smooth product development, lean processes, mass production, and distribution of EV Chargers in both the AC and DC segments. Through his appointment, Servotech hopes to strengthen its leadership team.

Having been in the automotive and telecom industries for over two decades, Kumar has considerable expertise in those areas. He has previously worked with Honda Cars India, Tata Motors, and tier-I automotive suppliers.

Expressing his delight over Deepak’s appointment Servotech Power Systems Founder & Managing Director Raman Bhatia commented, “With his vision, expertise, and SCM skills, we are sure he can help Servotech reach newer heights in the EV Industry.”

While commenting on his new role as Vice President, EV Charger, Servotech Power Systems, Deepak Kumar stated, “In the face of rapidly changing market dynamics and new market entrants in this segment, we have to pull up our socks and strive for delivery of quality products on time with competitive pricing in a most sustainable manner.”

Announcing its foray into the electric vehicle market, Servotech has begun manufacturing innovative smart chargers for electric vehicles.
