RenewSys commissions a new encapsulant line at its Bengaluru facility
The RenewSys Bengaluru facility has commissioned a new encapsulant (EVA & POE) line, bringing its total capacity up to 3 GW. The company plans to expand their manufacturing capacity to 11 GW.
A new solar encapsulant (EVA & POE) line has been commissioned this month by one of India’s largest PV backsheet manufacturers, RenewSys India Pvt Ltd. With addition of the new line, company’s total production output of encapsulant’s rises to 3 GW.
Further, the company has also begun the expansion of another GW of Encapsulant production capacity, that will increase the company’s total capacity to 4 GW. At the same time, the company plans to significantly increase its Encapsulant output by adding another 8 GW in phases – aiming for a total Encapsulant output of 11 GW.

Recently, RenewSys launched CONSERV® Ultra plus (U+), a distinctive EVA Encapsulant. The application of this thermo-proficient Encapsulant reduces the curing time per PV module cycle by 2-3 minutes, thus increasing the efficiency of the manufacturing line by 10-20%.
With over 15 GW of PV encapsulant and PV backsheet supplied in the market, RenewSys has carved a niche for itself in competitive global markets since its inception in 2011. It has to its credit several firsts including – India’s proven & UL certified POE, transparent Backsheet, and only Backsheet patent.
