Hero Electric partnered ElectricPe to set up EV charging infrastructure.

The EV charging network will cover residential complexes, offices, malls, and other establishments. The alliance will help strengthen the EV charging network and propel EV adoption across the country.


Hero Electric announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with EV charging platform ElectricPe to set up EV charging stations for its customers across India. As a result of this collaboration, Hero Electric riders will have access to ElectricPe’s charging network.

Residential complexes, offices, malls, and other establishments would all have charging stations. According to Hero Electric, the partnership would assist expand the charging network and accelerating EV adoption across the country.

“For the developing EV sector to see faster adoption of EVs across the area, a robust charging network is essential. This partnership will give customers a smooth charging and EV riding experience by easing access to ElectricPe’s charging points, which are being implemented on a large scale across the country,” said Hero Electric CEO, Sohinder Gill.

He noted that the company is working diligently to scale up the charging infrastructure as part of the company’s vision and commitment to promoting the growth of EVs.

With the partnership, the company aims to expand its charging network across the country and sustain the push toward EVs. This will help facilitate a smooth transition towards clean and green mobility solutions, Gill added.
