Gautam Solar launches G-2X Mono Solar Panels with Dual Power Generation
Gautam Solar launches G-2X Mono crystalline series of Solar Panels upto 566 Wp that generates power from both front and back of the module
Gautam Solar, a manufacturer of solar modules, has introduced the G-2X Monocrystalline series of solar panels with a capacity of up to 566 Wp. The G-2X module is unique in that it generates power from both the front and back of the module.
This Dual Power Generation module is ideal for use in Rooftop & Ground Mounted Solar Power plants, where the power generation gains from the back side are an additional 10% – 30% in the same available land area.
According to the company, the newly launched solar modules are capable of offering a combined efficiency of 25.72 percent when front and back are considered.
G-2X Mono series panels are made with A+ grade Bi-Facial Mono Perc Cells, a high quality transparent backsheet, split junction boxes, and the highest grade of stringent quality checked raw materials. It distinguishes itself from competitors due to its cutting-edge technology, large scale of operations, and dependability-like features.
G-2X Mono Series will reduce BOS and installation costs while increasing power generation by up to 30% in the same available area for solar power plant customers. This is ideal for MW-scale solar plants, where maximum power generation per unit of land area is a critical success factor.
Commenting on the launch, Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director of Gautam Solar, stated, “We are confident that the launch of the G-2X Dual Generation Module with End-to-End Manufacturing will accelerate solar innovation in India. As one of the country’s leading manufacturers, we strive to produce the most energy per unit of land area. This will benefit all MW Scale power plant customers installing ground mounted and rooftop solar power plants by lowering the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) produced per unit of land area on which this is installed. We have always intended to innovate and bring innovative products to the solar power plant sector at Gautam Solar. In the coming years, we hope to broaden our product offering even more.”
Gautam Solar focuses on solar innovation while pushing for indigenisation and manufacturing of all components for solar panels in India. Gautam Solar has more than 40 products on the ‘Approved List of Models and Manufacturers’ approved by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE, Govt. of India) (ALMM) along with having the highest number of patented solar products that are ready for sale. The company has a current capacity of 250 MW and is expected to expand up to 1 GW soon.
