Gautam Solar launched a New Gel Battery to provide Storage Solutions
Gautam Solar launched a New Gel Battery to provide Storage Solutions for Solar Power, Telecommunications, and Rural Electrification.
Gautam Solar launched a New Gel Battery as an alternative to lithium and tubular lead-acid batteries being used currently. The company has developed these batteries to provide Storage Solutions for Solar Power, Telecommunications, and Rural Electrification.
On Wednesday, Gautam Solar, a Delhi-based solar module manufacturer, announced the launch of its new gel battery for domestic and international markets, to meet the rising demand across solar plants, telecom sector, and rural electrification for energy storage solutions.
According to the official press release, these batteries are economical, thermally stable, durable and sealed, maintenance-free, and do not need to be recharged
“With the rise in popularity of solar energy, we believe that our product will provide a solution to the battery backup issues that many commercial players are experiencing,” said Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director of Gautam Solar.
These batteries will provide a stronger and superior option in the energy storage arena, where lithium batteries and tubular lead-acid batteries are currently used, according to the company.
“The global gel battery market is expected to rise to $2.07 billion by 2027, up from $2.07 billion in 2021.” Tubular gel batteries outperform ordinary batteries when used in conjunction with solar PV systems, according to the company.
In addition, it stated that gel batteries can withstand high-temperature fluctuations and contain gelled electrolytes, reducing the risk of evaporation, spillage, and use-related corrosion.
The statement said that the company plans to reap these benefits from the domestic and international energy storage market, which is witnessing an upward trend, especially due to the rising costs of petroleum products.
