Shapoorji Pallonji Group company – Sterling and Wilson on Monday appointed Amit Jain as its Global chief executive officer (CEO) for its solar business.

Amit Jain has replaced Bikesh Ogra, who relinquished his position with effect from 31 May 2021.

Prior to his appointment, he was serving as the company’s country head for the US and Australia since January 2019.

Sterling and Wilson Solar have operations in over 25 countries across the globe. Amit Jain in this new position as Global CEO will be responsible for the market growth and business development for the company in these markets, according to the company release.

Jain will continue to operate from Dubai, the company informed further.

According to the company, Jain has an extensive 29 years of experience across various industries such as renewable, Oil and Gas Power Transmission, etc.

Amit is an engineer from Delhi University and has completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in international business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Sterling and Wilson Solar is an end-to-end solar EPC solution provider for utility-scale, rooftop, and floating solar power projects.
