CPCL issues a tender for 10 MW Solar Project in Tamil Nadu
CPCL is seeking bids for CAPEX and OPEX estimation to develop a 10 MW solar power project in Tamil Nadu. Online Bid Submission deadline is September 27, 2021
The Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), an Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) subsidiary, is seeking bids for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX) estimation to develop a 10 MW solar power project.
The solar project is proposed to be set up at the Cauvery basin refinery in the Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. From the time the letter of award has been issued, the work should be completed within 4 weeks, as per the tender document.
Important Dates & Deposits: Bids must be submitted online latest by September 27, 2021. The opening of the bids will take place the same day.
The award-winning bidder will need to submit a security deposit equal to 3% of the contract value.
Scope of Work: The scope of the work includes the solar intensity and resource assessment of the project site, the simulation of the solar power potential, and the analysis of the project yield. Moreover, it includes an assessment of the grid’s connectivity from the proposed project site, as well as a power evacuation mechanism.
Estimated project financials should be provided along with CAPEX and OPEX estimates for the selected technology. In addition to describing the options for project execution modality, the consultant’s report should also include a schedule for the remaining stages of the project.
Other Tender Details: A site office should be established at each job site within ten days of accepting a tender from the company and should remain there until all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
A contractor may not assign, sub-contract, or sublet the whole or any part of the work without the Engineer-in-Charge’s written approval.
